Ubiquitin interaction motif containing 1 (UIMC1), also known as receptor-associated protein 8 (RAP80), is a transcriptional activator protein. It encodes a 79.6 kDa protein localized in the nucleus and is highly expressed in testis. UIMC1 contains a nuclear localization signal and two zinc fingers at the C-terminus, as well as tandem ubiquitin interacting motifs (UIMs). The UIMC1 gene is located on human chromosome 5q35.2.
