Target Information
FBXL11 is a member of the F-box protein family characterized by the approximately 40 amino acid F-box motif. These proteins form part of the SCF (SKP1–Cullin–F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex. F-box proteins are divided into:
- Fbws: containing WD-40 domains
- Fbls: containing leucine-rich repeats
- Fbxs: containing other interaction modules or no recognizable motifs
FBXL11 belongs to the Fbls class and contains at least six highly degenerated leucine-rich repeats in addition to the F-box.
