Target Information
Cyclins는 Cyclin-dependent protein kinases (CDKs)의 활성을 조절하는 단백질입니다. Cyclin B1(CCNB1)은 유사분열에 관여하는 조절 단백질로, 세포주기 G2/M 전이의 조절에 필수적입니다. Cyclin B1은 p34(cdc2)와 결합하여 maturation-promoting factor(MPF)를 형성합니다. 두 가지 대체 전사체가 존재하며, 하나는 지속적으로 발현되고 다른 하나는 세포주기 G2/M 단계에서 주로 발현됩니다. Cyclin B1은 G2/M 단계 동안 유비퀴틴화되지 않아 G2 단계 동안 축적되며, 유사분열 종료 시 APC 의존적 파괴가 급격히 일어납니다. Cyclin B1의 파괴는 세포주기 진행에 필수적입니다. Cyclin B1은 유방암, 전립선암, 비소세포 폐암 등 다양한 암에서 과발현됩니다.
