Target Information
CD45RA is an isoform of the CD45 complex and shows restricted expression among lymphoid cell subtypes.
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising about 10% of lymphocyte surface proteins.
It regulates Src-family kinases, plays a key role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, and exists in multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing.
CD45 is essential for immunoreceptor signaling and cell survival, influencing integrin-mediated pathways and apoptosis.
It is expressed in human hematopoietic cells except mature red cells and is associated with diseases such as severe combined immunodeficiency and Hepatitis C.
