Target Information

LPL은 심장, 근육, 지방 조직에서 발현되는 lipoprotein lipase를 암호화하며, triglyceride hydrolase 및 수용체 매개 lipoprotein 섭취를 위한 ligand/bridging factor로 기능합니다. LPL 결핍을 유발하는 심각한 돌연변이는 제I형 고지단백혈증을 일으키며, 덜 심각한 변이는 다양한 지질대사 이상과 관련되어 있습니다.
