Target Information
LRWD1 단백질은 G1/S 전이(G1/S transition)에 필요하며, G1기 동안 pre-replication complex(preRC)를 형성하기 위해 origin recognition complex(ORC)를 크로마틴에 모집하고 안정화시킵니다. 또한 복제 후 세포의 이질염색질 부위에도 작용합니다.
DNA 및 히스톤 메틸화 억제 마크(H3K9me3, H3K27me3, H4K20me3)에 결합하며, DNA 메틸화와 협력적으로 작용합니다. 주요 위성 반복 서열의 침묵화(silencing)에 필요하며 ORC2, ORC3, ORC4의 안정성에도 중요할 수 있습니다.
