Target Information
UGT1A9는 UDP-glucuronosyltransferase로, glucuronidation 경로에서 작은 소수성 분자(스테로이드, 빌리루빈, 호르몬, 약물 등)를 수용성 대사산물로 변환시켜 배설을 가능하게 하는 효소입니다.
이 유전자는 여러 UDP-glucuronosyltransferase를 암호화하는 복합 유전자군의 일부로, 각각의 첫 번째 엑손은 고유한 프로모터에 의해 조절되며 기질 결합 부위를 암호화합니다.
이 효소는 phenols에 대해 활성도가 높습니다.
