Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
This gene belongs to the DEAH box polypeptide family. The encoded protein contains the DEAH (Asp-Glu-Ala-His) motif characteristic of DEAH box proteins and functions as an ATP-dependent RNA helicase regulating the release of spliced mRNAs from spliceosomes prior to nuclear export. It may be required for replication of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
