Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) Sema4C is observed.
- Approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Sema4G is observed.
- Less than 5% cross-reactivity with rhSema3B and rmSema3F is observed.
- Reconstitution: Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
SEMA4C (semaphorin-4C), also known as SEMAF, is an 833 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein containing one sema domain, one PSI domain, and one Ig-like C2-type domain.
It is expressed in various tissues including lung, kidney, and brain, and interacts with GIPC and NCDN.
SEMA4C is thought to play a role in neural network formation during development.
