Target Information
STOML2는 미토콘드리아 생합성과 활성을 조절하는 단백질로, cardiolipin 생합성을 촉진하고 cardiolipin이 풍부한 막에 결합하여 prohibitin 등의 단백질을 안정화합니다. 이를 통해 미토콘드리아 막의 기능적 마이크로도메인을 조직화하는 역할을 합니다. 또한 세포 이동, 증식, T세포 활성화, 칼슘 항상성, 스트레스 반응 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여합니다. 스트레스 상황에서 미토콘드리아 과융합(ATP 생산 증가)을 유도하며, 세포 생존에 기여합니다. 또한 세포막의 기능적 도메인 구성 및 T세포 수용체 신호 복합체 조절에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
