Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene encodes the smallest subunit of DNA polymerase delta, which possesses both polymerase and 3′ to 5′ exonuclease activity. It plays a critical role in DNA replication and repair, enhancing the activity of DNA polymerase delta and contributing to fork repair and stabilization through interactions with the Bloom syndrome protein. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been observed.
