Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues, heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes before staining.
Target Information
JUP (gamma catenin) is a major cytoplasmic protein found in submembranous plaques of both desmosomes and intermediate junctions. It forms complexes with cadherins and desmosomal cadherins and belongs to the catenin family, characterized by the armadillo repeat motif.
