In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse CD200 is observed.
Target Information
CD200 is a type-1 membrane glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It contains two immunoglobulin domains and interacts with CD200R on myeloid cells to prevent macrophage activation. Homologues are found in herpesviruses and poxviruses. CD200 regulates myeloid cell activity and provides inhibitory signaling in macrophage lineages. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, and dysfunctions in CD200 are associated with diseases such as Mantle Cell Lymphoma and Primary Hypertrophic Osteoarthropathy.
