Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Deoxycytidine kinase (DCK) is an enzyme required for the phosphorylation of several deoxyribonucleosides and their nucleoside analogs.
Deficiency of DCK is associated with resistance to antiviral and anticancer chemotherapeutic agents.
Conversely, increased DCK activity enhances activation of these compounds to cytotoxic nucleoside triphosphate derivatives.
DCK is clinically significant due to its relationship with drug resistance and sensitivity.
