Target Information
Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) involved in mRNA processing mechanisms.
Component of the CRD-mediated complex promoting MYC mRNA stability. Isoforms 1–3 associate with pre-mRNA and mature mRNA complexes. Isoform 1 binds apoB mRNA AU-rich sequences and contributes to APOB mRNA editosome complex activity. May regulate translationally coupled mRNA turnover and participate in cytoplasmic mRNA transport via synaptotagmin interaction.
Part of the GAIT complex mediating interferon-gamma-induced translation inhibition of inflammatory mRNAs.
