Background
This gene encodes a transmembrane protein containing three extracellular CUB domains and serves as a substrate for Src family kinases. It plays a role in tyrosine phosphorylation-dependent regulation of cellular processes involved in tumor invasion and metastasis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
