Opticin (OPTC, OPT)은 332개의 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로, 세포외 기질에 분비되며 7개의 LRR 반복 서열을 포함합니다. 피부와 태아 간에서 발현되며, 망막, 각막, 홍채 등 안구 조직에서도 발견됩니다. 콜라겐 섬유와 결합하여 섬유 간격, 형태, 조직을 조절하는 역할을 하며, O-당화 후변형을 거칠 수 있습니다. 또한 개방각 녹내장의 발병과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다.
