Glucose-6-phosphatase (G6PC)는 소포체 막에 존재하는 막관통 단백질로, D-glucose 6-phosphate를 D-glucose와 orthophosphate로 가수분해하는 효소입니다. 이 효소는 포도당 항상성 유지에 핵심적인 역할을 하며, gluconeogenesis와 glycogenolysis 과정에 관여합니다. 해당 효소의 결함은 glycogen storage disease type I을 유발할 수 있습니다.
