Target Information
PITX1 is a member of the RIEG/PITX homeobox family, belonging to the bicoid class of homeodomain proteins. This family is involved in organ development and left–right asymmetry. PITX1 functions as a transcriptional regulator in basal and hormone-regulated activity of prolactin.
