ADCY2는 adenylate cyclase 계열에 속하는 막 결합 효소로, 세포 내 2차 신호전달물질인 cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP)의 생성을 촉매합니다. 이 효소는 Ca(2+)/calmodulin에 민감하지 않으며, G 단백질의 베타 및 감마 소단위 복합체에 의해 활성화됩니다.
