The ProcartaPlex Human Immuno-Oncology Checkpoint Panel 3, 9plex enables cancer research by analyzing nine protein immune-oncology targets in a single well using Luminex xMAP technology.
Simultaneous detection of these targets helps to understand the role of the B7 family of immune checkpoint regulators in controlling and suppressing immune responses of T cells and NK cells.

This panel can be combined with other panels such as:

• Human Immuno-Oncology Checkpoint Panel 1 (14plex)
• Human Immuno-Oncology Checkpoint Panel 2 (14plex)
  Together, these provide 28 additional protein targets for comprehensive immune checkpoint profiling.

About ProcartaPlex Assays for the Luminex Platform

ProcartaPlex immunoassays are based on sandwich ELISA principles, using two highly specific antibodies that bind to different epitopes of one protein to quantify multiple protein targets simultaneously on a Luminex instrument.

ProcartaPlex assays utilize Luminex xMAP (multianalyte profiling) technology for simultaneous detection and quantitation of up to 80 protein targets in a single sample (25–50 μL).
Using MagPlex superparamagnetic microsphere beads, each bead carries a unique spectral signature and is conjugated with antibodies specific to a single target protein. Detection is achieved with biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin–R-phycoerythrin (RPE).

Unlike traditional ELISA, ProcartaPlex assays use magnetic bead–based capture antibodies, allowing free-floating reagents and efficient multiplexing. The Luminex instruments (e.g., Luminex 200, FLEXMAP 3D, MAGPIX) use dual lasers to identify bead signatures and quantify fluorescence proportional to the protein concentration.
