Target Information
The RABL2A gene belongs to the RAB gene family, part of the RAS GTPase superfamily. These small GTP-binding proteins are key regulators of exocytotic and endocytotic pathways. The gene is located at the site of an ancestral telomere fusion event and may function as a subtelomeric gene. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
