Target Information
CH25H는 콜레스테롤로부터 25-hydroxycholesterol을 형성하여 콜레스테롤 생합성 효소를 억제합니다 (PubMed:9852097). 림프조직 내 세포 위치 및 이동에 중요한 역할을 하며, 25-hydroxycholesterol은 GPR183/EBI2 수용체의 리간드로 작용하는 7-alpha,25-dihydroxycholesterol의 중간체입니다. 또한 SREBP 처리 억제를 통해 지질 대사 조절에 관여하며, 고환에서 macrophage에 의해 생성된 25-hydroxycholesterol은 Leydig 세포 분화에 영향을 줄 수 있습니다.
