Target Information
This antibody recognizes one of the several receptors for 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a biogenic hormone that functions as a neurotransmitter, hormone, and mitogen. The receptor activity is mediated by G proteins that stimulate adenylate cyclase and shows high affinity for tricyclic psychotropic drugs.
