Sheep anti-Bovine IgG1 polyclonal antibody recognizes bovine IgG1. No cross-reactivity with other bovine immunoglobulin classes is seen in immunoelectrophoresis. This product may cross-react with IgG1 from other species.

Target Information

Anti-Bovine secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for bovine (cow, ox) immunoglobulins and are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of their specified target.
Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling use with various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence). They provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Most commonly, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
