Target Information
ODAM (Odontogenic Ameloblast-Associated Protein) is a tooth-associated epithelial protein that likely plays a role in odontogenesis—the complex process initiating and generating the tooth. It may be incorporated into the enamel matrix at the end of mineralization and is involved in RHOA activity induction via interaction with ARHGEF, influencing downstream factors such as ROCK. ODAM contributes to the attachment of the junctional epithelium to the tooth surface.
