Target Information
The nuclear factor of activated T-cells (NFAT) transcription complex regulates the expression of proteins involved in the immune response. Four main NFAT proteins (NFAT1–NFAT4) have been described, showing similarity to the Dorsal/Rel/NFkB family. NFAT5 differs from these isoforms as it lacks many Fos/Jun contact sites and its localization is not calcineurin-dependent.
