Target Information
RUVBL2는 single-stranded DNA-stimulated ATPase 및 ATP-dependent DNA helicase (5′→3′) 활성을 가지며, NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex의 구성 요소로서 전사 활성화에 관여합니다. 이 복합체는 히스톤 H4 및 H2A의 아세틸화를 통해 전사 조절 단백질과의 상호작용을 촉진하고, 종양 억제, 세포 노화, 세포사멸, DNA 수리 등의 전사 프로그램 활성화에 필요할 수 있습니다. 또한 RUVBL1 및 RUVBL2는 EP400과 결합하여 NuA4 복합체의 ATPase 및 helicase 활성을 부분적으로 담당합니다. RUVBL2는 MYC에 의한 종양 형성에 필수적이며, LEF1/TCF1-CTNNB1 복합체에 의한 전사 활성화를 조절하고 ATF2 전사 활성 또한 억제할 수 있습니다.
