Target Information
Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs) regulate intracellular cyclic nucleotide levels by hydrolyzing cAMP and/or cGMP to their respective nucleoside 5′-monophosphates.
PDE1A, a member of the PDE1 family, is a Ca²⁺/calmodulin-dependent enzyme activated by calmodulin in the presence of Ca²⁺ (Michibata et al., 2001).
