PA1-4117 detects RFLAT-1 protein in mouse and human samples.
It has been successfully used in Western blot procedures.
By Western blot, this antibody detects a ~36 kDa protein representing RFLAT-1 in transfected COS cells.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues P(27)REGPESRPEG(37) of human RFLAT-1.
Target Information
RANTES factor of late activated T-lymphocytes 1 (RFAT-1) represses transcription by binding to the BTE site, a GC-rich DNA element, in competition with the activator SP1.
It also represses transcription by interacting with the corepressor Sin3A and HDAC1.
