Target Information
Xaa-Pro dipeptidase is a cytosolic dipeptidase that hydrolyzes dipeptides with proline or hydroxyproline at the carboxy terminus (but not Pro-Pro). It plays an important role in collagen metabolism due to the high levels of imino acids.
