Target Information
TCF3 (E2A)는 배아 발생 중 근육 및 초기 B세포 분화 등 조직 특이적 세포 운명을 결정하는 데 중요한 역할을 하는 전사 인자입니다.
E2A와 조직 특이적 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 이합체는 DNA의 E-box motif(5'-CANNTG-3')에 결합합니다.
또한 kappa immunoglobulin 유전자 enhancer의 kappa-E2 부위에 결합합니다.
E2A의 결실은 일부 전구 B세포 급성 림프모구성 백혈병(B-ALL) 사례에서 관찰되었습니다.
인간에서는 두 가지 대체 스플라이싱된 isoform이 보고되었습니다.
