Product Specific Information

• Rehydrate with 1.1 mL of deionized water and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve.
  (Product has been overfilled to ensure complete recovery.)
• Centrifuge to remove any particulates.
• Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
• Store lyophilized material at 2–8°C.
• For long-term storage after reconstitution, dilute with 50% glycerol and store at -20°C as a liquid.
• Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to:
  • Non-immunoglobulin rabbit serum proteins
  • Light chains on all rabbit immunoglobulins
  • Rabbit IgG F(ab')₂ fragment
  • Serum proteins from bovine, horse, or human

Target Information

Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins.
They are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit targets.

Secondary antibodies provide:

• Increased versatility for multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence)
• Enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification (multiple secondary antibodies binding to one primary antibody)

These antibodies are typically produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
