Target Information
Members of this G protein family are characterized by the presence of a conserved SNF2 domain, a helicase-like region, and ATPase activity. They play a significant role in chromatin remodeling. Although SNF2L1 shows ubiquitous expression, its active form is mainly expressed in neurons, suggesting a role in neurite outgrowth and neuronal physiology.
