Target Information
Chimaerin beta 2는 chimerin 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, phorbol-ester/DAG-type zinc finger, Rho-GAP domain, SH2 domain을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 phospholipid 결합에 의해 조절되는 GTPase-activating protein 활성을 가지며, diacylglycerol (DAG) 결합 시 세포질에서 Golgi 막으로 이동합니다.
평활근 세포의 증식 및 이동에 관여하며, 발현 감소는 고등급 교종 및 유방 종양과 관련되고, 발현 증가는 림프종과 관련이 있습니다.
또한 남성의 정신분열증과 관련된 돌연변이가 보고되었습니다. 다양한 전사적 스플라이스 변이체가 확인되어 서로 다른 isoform을 형성합니다.
