For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes the large subunit of DNA damage-binding protein, a heterodimer composed of large and small subunits. The protein functions in nucleotide-excision repair, and defective activity is associated with xeroderma pigmentosum complementation group E (XPE). Although mutation analysis is needed to confirm whether XPE defects are due to this gene or the small subunit gene, this region (11q) is also linked to Best vitelliform macular dystrophy, though no sequence alterations have been identified in Best disease patients.
