Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K2 (MEK2) is a dual specificity serine/threonine kinase involved in mitogen growth factor signal transduction.
It belongs to the MAPKK family, activating ERK1/2 and MAPK enzymes via phosphorylation of the TEY motif.
MEK1 and MEK2 are activated by dual phosphorylation on serine residues 218 and 222, while threonine 292 of MEK1 is phosphorylated by ERK2, providing a negative feedback loop that suppresses MEK1 activation.
