Target Information
PRAT4A (CNPY3) is a novel protein belonging to the canopy family with a saposin B-type domain. It acts as an accessory molecule required for microbial recognition by Toll-like receptor (TLR) and mediates TLR-dependent immune responses. Although its exact function remains unclear, PRAT4A is associated with the immature form of TLR4 and regulates its cell surface expression. This secreted protein also contributes to TLR4 maturation and glycosylation. PRAT4A is primarily located in the endoplasmic reticulum and plays an essential role in modulating the subcellular distribution and signaling of multiple TLRs, supporting both innate and adaptive immune responses.
