Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. These antibodies are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of their specified target. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling the use of various detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They can also enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Most secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species. They may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
