Target Information
Alpha Tubulin은 알파와 베타 튜불린 소단위체로 구성된 이합체의 일부로, 세포 내 미세소관(microtubule)의 기본 구성 요소입니다. 미세소관은 거의 모든 진핵세포에서 존재하며, 세포 구조 유지, 물질 수송, 세포 분열(유사분열) 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
알파 및 베타 튜불린은 고도로 보존된 단백질로, 여러 유전자가 존재하며 종 간 유사성이 높습니다. Alpha Tubulin을 암호화하는 유전자는 마우스 및 랫의 Tuba1 유전자와 높은 상동성을 보입니다.
Northern blotting 연구에 따르면, 이 유전자의 발현은 형태적으로 분화된 신경세포에서 주로 관찰됩니다.
