The Applied Biosystems® TaqMan® RNase P 384-Well Instrument Verification Plate is used to verify the performance of the Applied Biosystems® 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System.
This 384-well PCR plate is preloaded with reagents required to detect and quantify genomic copies of the human RNase P gene — a single-copy gene encoding the RNA moiety of the RNase P enzyme.

Each well contains a preloaded reaction mix consisting of:

• 1X TaqMan® Universal PCR Master Mix
• RNase P primers
• FAM™ dye–labeled probe
• Template DNA

To pass installation verification, the instrument must demonstrate the ability to distinguish between 5,000 and 10,000 genomic equivalents with a 99.7% confidence level in a single well run.
Applied Biosystems® recommends verifying instrument performance every six months to ensure accuracy.
