Target Information
Zhou 등은 다핵 거대세포(osteoclast) 형성을 억제하는 단백질인 Osteoclast Inhibitory Lectin (OCIL)을 확인하였습니다.
OCIL은 RANKL 및 M-CSF 처리된 비장세포 배양에서도 파골세포 형성을 억제하며, 골아세포 및 연골세포뿐 아니라 다양한 조직에서 발현됩니다.
OCIL 발현은 PTH, 칼시트리올, IL-1, IL-11, 레티노산 등에 의해 증가하며, RANKL과 유사한 분포를 보여 골격 및 세포외 조직에서 상호작용할 가능성이 제시되었습니다.
