Target Information
CHMP1B는 chromatin-modifying protein/charged multivesicular body protein (CHMP) 패밀리에 속합니다. 이 단백질들은 ESCRT-III (endosomal sorting complex required for transport III) 복합체의 구성요소로, 표면 수용체 단백질의 분해 및 endocytic multivesicular body (MVB) 형성에 관여합니다. 일부 CHMP 단백질은 핵과 세포질/소포 내에 모두 존재하며, CHMP1A는 MVB 형성과 세포 주기 조절 모두에 필수적입니다 (Tsang et al., 2006).
