Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the TRIM protein family. It contains multiple zinc finger motifs and a leucine zipper motif. It may form homo- or heterodimers involved in nucleic acid binding and act as a transcriptional regulatory factor associated with carcinogenesis or differentiation. Additionally, it may contribute to suppression of radiosensitivity, as it is linked to the ataxia telangiectasia phenotype.
