NCBP3는 m7GpppG-capped RNA를 NCBP1/CBP80에 연결하는 어댑터 단백질로 작용합니다.
전통적인 CBC(NCBP2 포함)는 snRNA와 mRNA 모두에 결합하지만, 대체 CBC(NCBP3 포함)는 mRNA에만 결합하여 mRNA 수출에만 관여합니다.
