Target Information
HSP90 proteins are highly conserved molecular chaperones involved in signal transduction, protein folding, degradation, and cellular stress response. They interact with cochaperones to fold newly synthesized proteins and refold denatured proteins. TRAP1 is a mitochondrial HSP90 protein, while other HSP90 members are localized in the cytosol and endoplasmic reticulum.
