Target Information
TRPV1 (Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily V Member 1)는 캡사이신의 수용체로, 뜨거운 고추의 주요 매운 성분에 반응하여 통증을 유발하는 감각 신경을 활성화합니다.
이 단백질은 TRP 계열 이온 통로(TRPC3, TRPC6 등)와 구조적으로 유사한 비선택적 양이온 채널로, Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Na⁺, K⁺ 등의 이온에 투과성이 있습니다.
TRPV1은 6개의 막관통 도메인, P-loop 막 도메인, 3개의 ankyrin 반복 도메인을 포함하고 있으며, 유해한 온도 상승에 의해 활성화되어 통증 자극 전달에 관여합니다.
또한 TRPV1은 프로톤 유입을 매개하며, 통각 신경세포 내 산증에 관여할 수 있습니다. 발현은 주로 감각 신경절 내 뉴런에 제한되어 있습니다.
TRPV1을 암호화하는 네 가지 전사 변이가 알려져 있으며, 5' UTR 서열에 차이를 보입니다. 관련 질환으로는 과민성 대장 증후군(IBS) 및 방광 질환이 보고되어 있습니다.
