Target Information
MAPK9 (JNK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays an important role in the MAPK signaling pathway. JNK2 (also known as p54a or SAPK1a), together with JNK1 and JNK3, is involved in nuclear signal transduction through activation by environmental stress and subsequent phosphorylation of the nuclear transcription factor p53.
