Target Information
Anti-Guinea Pig secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for guinea pig immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility across multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and improve sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and optional modifications such as immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, or label conjugation.
