Morolimumab은 RHD를 표적으로 하는 바이오시밀러 항체입니다. Rhesus (Rh) 혈액형 시스템은 인간에서 가장 복잡하고 중요한 시스템 중 하나로, RHD와 RHCE 두 개의 상동 유전자가 Rh 혈액형 항원을 암호화합니다.
이 유전자는 인간 염색체 1p34.1–1p36 위치에 존재하며, RHD 유전자는 D 항원을 암호화합니다. Rh 부적합은 신생아 용혈성 질환(HDN)을 유발할 수 있으며, 이는 태아 사망으로 이어질 수 있습니다. RHCE 유전자는 Ce, ce, cE, CE 조합의 항원 발현을 결정하며, RHCED 항원은 적혈구막의 통합막 단백질로서 12개의 막관통 구조를 가지고 있습니다. Rh 항원 활성의 발현에는 RHCED 항원과 RHAG(RH50)의 복합체 형성이 필요합니다.
